Key Responsibilities
- Manage bookkeeping and financial reporting for a diverse portfolio of optometry clients.
- Code transactions and collaborate with practice owners on financial decisions regarding equipment purchases.
- Conduct account reconciliations and manage monthly closing processes.
- Facilitate payroll operations, ensuring timely processing and compliance with tax regulations.
- Provide support for up to 60 client practices monthly.
- Offer insights and recommendations for the enhancement of our bookkeeping services.
Required Skills
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online, with a preference for experience in QuickBooks Payroll, Gusto Payroll, ADP, and/or Paychex.
- Advanced skills in Excel, including functions such as Pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent time management and decision-making abilities.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and adept at remote work, embracing collaboration and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in bookkeeping and financial management for small, independent businesses is essential.
